Cindy has been teaching physical education to middle school students for 25 years. She is passionate about teaching and excited to introduce Yoga to young people. She completed Level 2 YogaFit certification and also attended a YogaFit Kids workshop. Cindy hopes to ignite in her young students a lifelong passion for Yoga and physical fitness. Her classes are designed to help children build strength, improve flexibility and develop body awareness and self confidence.
Rana (RamPriya) Khan
Rana is a registered nurse and has completed her 200-hour certifications in Integrative Yoga Therapy and Kali Natha Yoga, developed by Ma Jaya in Sebastian, FL. She embraces a holisic approach to both health care and yoga and applies this knowledge to help students on the physical, psychological and spiritual levels.
Approaching yoga with a gentle yet energetic spirit, Rana infuses her classes with passion and sensitivity combined with respect for each student's individual journey. With the belief that yoga therapy is both restorative and preventative, her goal is to make yoga accessible to anyone regardless of age, experience or physical limitations, including those with chronic medical issues. She provides a safe and nurturing environment and her compassionate and caring nature make it easy for any student to grow, explore and challenge themselves.
Rana is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Nursing at Florida Atlantic University and lives with her family in Vero Beach.
Carmen has been practicing yoga for over 15 years and teaching for over 7 years. She is a Registered Yoga Teacher with a Vinyasa Flow certification from Frog Lotus Yoga in Costa Rico. Her personal practice and her teaching style reflect and are infused by her love and reverence for the Astanga system.
She has studyed with many Astanga masters including Manju Jois, Sharath Jois, Tim Miller and David Swenson. In class, Carmen's classic vinyasas relect influences from Rodney Yee, Seane Corn, Jason Crandell and Bryan Kest and local teacher Margarida Tree.
Carmen has a certificate for Teaching Yoga to Seniors from Duke University and is a certified Silver Sneaker instructor (chair yoga.) She continues her yoga teacher training with workshops at the Miami Life Center.
Yoga is a big part of Carmen's life, coming to her when she most needed it. It's where she finds her spirituality and makes her feel grounded and focused.
A Kripalu Yoga certified instructor, Elise's class structure includes centering, warm-ups, vinyasa (posture flow), relaxation and meditation. Each class is designed to improve flexibility, strength, balance, coordination and for a whole-body workout.
Elise is certified to teach Prenatal Yoga and is a Third Degree Reiki Practitioner.

Durgaya is an Atlanta-trained yoga instructor who has recently returned to her home in Florida. She grew up in a spiritual community and was introduced to yoga and meditation at a young age. In 2002, she turned to yoga to find peace after experiencing a personal loss and felt a fundamental shift in her physical and spiritual self.
She was voted Best of Atlanta 2011 Alternative Exercise for her work with Tough Love Yoga, a company she co-founded and represented as the lead teacher for Wanderlust in the City 2011.
Durgaya is certified in Classical Yoga and on the path to Anusara Inspired status and a Kali Natha Yoga certification. As a teacher, she strives to arm her students with the tools to find a sense of peace and empowerment through flowing vinyasas as she guides them to their working edge.
Himalaya began her yoga practice in the late 1960's with Indra Devi and then lived in India for a year. Since then, she has lived and studied with her teacher MaJaya in Sebastian. Himalaya has taught yoga in our community for over 30 years as well as presented workshops in other cities. Certified through Yoga Alliance and personally instructed by Ma Jaya, Himalaya is an instructor of Kali Natha Yoga.
Himalaya teaches a flowing and meditative style of yoga which includes the use of breath, mudras, postures, stretches and relaxation.
As she was taught, "We stretch out from the heart and stretch deeply into the heart and deeply into the stillness within. There is a balance within us where movement and stillness merge."
Also a practicing licensed massage therapist and reflexologist, Himalaya invites new clients to make appointments through the studio.
